مِّن وَرَآئِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ وَيُسۡقَىٰ مِن مَّآءٖ صَدِيدٖ ١٦
Before him1 is Hell, and he will be given a drink of purulent water.2
Translation: Saheeh International (English)
1 Literally, "after him [in time]," meaning ahead of him.
2 That which oozes from the skins of Hell's inhabitants.
Each word's meaning and sound
Hellfire is in front of this arrogant person, awaiting him. He will be given the puss that oozes from the people of Hellfire to drink, but it will not quench his thirst. He will continue to be punished with thirst and other types of punishments.
