Al-Isra 80

Ayah 80 of 111 · Meccan

وَقُل رَّبِّ أَدۡخِلۡنِي مُدۡخَلَ صِدۡقٖ وَأَخۡرِجۡنِي مُخۡرَجَ صِدۡقٖ وَٱجۡعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلۡطَٰنٗا نَّصِيرٗا ٨٠

And say, "My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance1 and to exit a sound exit2 and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority."

Translation: Saheeh International (English)

1 Into Madīnah at the time of emigration, or into the grave.

2 From Makkah, or from the grave at the time of resurrection.

Tafsir

And say, O Messenger: O my Lord, make all my entrances and exits in Your obedience and for Your pleasure. And give me from Yourself a clear proof through which You help me against my enemy.
