Muhammad 17

Ayah 17 of 38 · Medinan

وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱهۡتَدَوۡاْ زَادَهُمۡ هُدٗى وَءَاتَىٰهُمۡ تَقۡوَىٰهُمۡ ١٧

And those who are guided - He increases them in guidance and gives them their righteousness.1

Translation: Saheeh International (English)

1 Taqwā, meaning piety, consciousness and fear of Allāh, and care to avoid His displeasure.

Tafsir

Those who are guided to the path of truth and to follow what the Messenger (peace be upon him) brought, their Lord increases them in guidance and direction to the truth, and He inspires them to do that which will protect them from the fire.
