An-Najm 6

Ayah 6 of 62 · Meccan

ذُو مِرَّةٖ فَٱسۡتَوَىٰ ٦

One of soundness.1 And he rose to [his] true form2

Translation: Saheeh International (English)

1 i.e., strength of body and of mind.

2 Gabriel appeared to Muḥammad (ﷺ) at the outset of his prophethood in the angelic form in which Allāh originally created him.

Tafsir

And Gabriel (peace be upon him) is of excellent form, so he rose up appearing to the Prophet (peace be upon him) in his form in which Allah created him.
