خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسۡكٞۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلۡمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ ٢٦
The last of it1 is musk. So for this let the competitors compete.
Translation: Saheeh International (English)
1 i.e., its lingering odor.

- خِتَٰمُهُۥIts sealkhitāmuhu
- مِسۡكٞۚ(will be of) muskmis'kun
- وَفِيAnd forwafī
- ذَٰلِكَthatdhālika

Tafsir
It will give off the fragrance of musk until its very end. For this noble reward the competitors must compete, by doing what pleases Allah and leaving what angers Him.
