An-Naml 85

Ayah 85 of 93 · Meccan

وَوَقَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَيۡهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُواْ فَهُمۡ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ٨٥

And the decree will befall them1 for the wrong they did, and they will not [be able to] speak.

Translation: Saheeh International (English)

1 Allāh's decree will come into effect upon them, and His promise will be fulfilled.

Tafsir

And the punishment will befall them due to their disbelieving in Allah and denying His ayahs. They will not speak to defend themselves due to their inability and the falsity of their proofs.
