Al-Jathiyah 21

Ayah 21 of 37 · Meccan

Or do those who commit evils think We will make them like those who have believed and done righteous deeds - [make them] equal in their life and their death?1 Evil is that which they judge [i.e., assume].

Translation: Saheeh International (English)

1 Another meaning is "...[the evildoers being] equal in their life and their death," i.e., unresponsive to guidance.

Tafsir

Those who commit disbelief and sins through their limbs think I will make them in reward like those who brought faith in Allah and did good deeds, making them equal in this life and the Hereafter. Wretched is this judgment of theirs.
