Surah Al-Ma'idah, ayah 102

قَدۡ سَأَلَهَا قَوۡمٞ مِّن قَبۡلِكُمۡ ثُمَّ أَصۡبَحُواْ بِهَا كَٰفِرِينَ ١٠٢

A people asked such [questions] before you; then they became thereby disbelievers.¹

Translation: Saheeh International (English)

Tafsir

A nation before you had asked about things not initially revealed to them. When they were then commanded to do them, they did not carry out the order; and became disbelievers as a result.
