So leave Me, [O Muḥammad], with [the matter of] whoever denies this statement [i.e., the Qur’ān]. We will progressively lead them [to punishment] from where they do not know.1
Translation: Saheeh International (English)
1 Allāh will increase His favors to them in this world by way of trial, whereby they will sink deeper into sin and thus into destruction.
سَنَسۡتَدۡرِجُهُمWe will progressively lead themsanastadrijuhum
مِّنۡfrommin
حَيۡثُwhereḥaythu
لَاnotlā
يَعۡلَمُونَthey knowyaʿlamūna
Tafsir
O Messenger! Leave me to deal with whoever denies this Qur’ān that has been revealed to you. I will drive them to the punishment gradually, in a way they do not realise that it is a method of leading them gradually into destruction.
