وَٱلۡمَلَكُ عَلَىٰٓ أَرۡجَآئِهَاۚ وَيَحۡمِلُ عَرۡشَ رَبِّكَ فَوۡقَهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ ثَمَٰنِيَةٞ ١٧
And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them].

- وَٱلۡمَلَكُAnd the Angelswal-malaku
- عَلَىٰٓ(will be) onʿalā
- أَرۡجَآئِهَاۚits edgesarjāihā
- وَيَحۡمِلُand will bearwayaḥmilu
- عَرۡشَ(the) Throneʿarsha
- رَبِّكَ(of) your Lordrabbika
- فَوۡقَهُمۡabove themfawqahum
- يَوۡمَئِذٖthat Dayyawma-idhin
- ثَمَٰنِيَةٞeightthamāniyatun
Tafsir
The angels will be on its edges and corners. Eight elite angels will carry the throne of your Lord on that great day.
