Then we will surely bring you magic like it, so make between us and you an appointment, which we will not fail to keep and neither will you, in a place assigned."1
Translation: Saheeh International (English)
1 Literally, "marked," as to be known. Another meaning is "a place midway [between us]" or "a level place."
فَلَنَأۡتِيَنَّكَThen we will surely produce for youfalanatiyannaka
بِسِحۡرٖmagicbisiḥ'rin
مِّثۡلِهِۦlike itmith'lihi
فَٱجۡعَلۡSo makefa-ij'ʿal
بَيۡنَنَاbetween usbaynanā
وَبَيۡنَكَand between youwabaynaka
مَوۡعِدٗاan appointmentmawʿidan
لَّاnotlā
نُخۡلِفُهُۥwe will fail itnukh'lifuhu
نَحۡنُ[we]naḥnu
وَلَآand notwalā
أَنتَyouanta
مَكَانٗا(in) a placemakānan
سُوٗىevensuwan
Tafsir
We will certainly bring to, O Moses, magic similar to yours, so make an appointment between you and us at a specified time and place, which neither of us will fail to keep, and let the place be a central and even place to both groups.
